I am planning to bring leggings to UK in June as I think weather will probably be cool and rainy at times. I will wear with dresses and tunics.

Leggings are the number one thing I pack when traveling. They are comfortable on planes and I’ve used them to sleep in AND to protect my legs from sunburn and stinging creatures while snorkeling.

As a petite not-skinny over-50 year-old, the skinny form-fitting leggings aren’t very flattering for me. BUT, I have found a great alternative in Land’s End Sport Cord Leggings. They are thicker than regular leggings, and they look like corduroy, so the bumps and lumps of aging thighs are covered. 🙂 I’ve worn them in chilly Scotland and they were both warm and comfortable. I bought another pair for our trip to England in October.

I always pack a few pairs of leggings, I can layer them under other clothes to stay warm, wear them in the evening after a shower to lounge around in, and wear them whilst doing laundry if all my other clothes are dirty 🙂
