Feeding guide
Feeding recommendation
All dogs are different. The recommended feeding amounts are only guidelines and should be adapted to suit the individual needs (breed, age, temperament, activity level etc.) of your pet to ensure that it maintains an ideal body weight. When changing food, please introduce the new food gradually over a period of approx. two weeks. The food should be served dry. Good food but quality not great as lots turn to dust
I used to buy this a few years ago, decided to try again and the biscuits are now very light so quite a lot in the packet has turned to a crumbled dust. The dogs still love it and are very healthy on it and I don’t doubt it’s quality ingredients, just that the dogs scoff their food and cough half way through, presumably from the dusty biscuits - I add water to them too. Maybe it was the way they’ve been stored but it’s something to be mindful about

Good "on paper"
I was looking forward to offer Purizon to our dog, but sadly he doesn't support it at all. He usually has an "iron stomach" and can (and does :-)) eat about anything , but unfortunately the Purizon Black Angus makes him first nauseous over a couple of days and then sick.My suspicion is, it is not the food itself, but actually the surface/structure of the kibble, which feels like a rasp. So I suspect it causes mechanical irritation.One way or the other, sadly the rest of the bag will be bin

My dogs love it
The ingredients and recipe are better than a lot of other brands. My dogs love the food and have had no trouble digesting it. The kibble isn't the biggest so be careful if you have a large breed. We've got 30kg dogs here and it really shouldn't be any smaller.

Good food
Now, after about 4 weeks, I can say with cautious optimism that our senior at home is getting on well with his new food. I was a little worried at first about the size of the kibble so I mixed a small bag of the Large kibble in with his food. He doesn't wolf it down and actually chews well. I will keep buying it because after searching far and wide it seems that we have finally landed on a good alternative to his rather expensive old food.
