SHI Stadium Fan A-Z Guide

50/50 Raffle
The 50/50 raffle will start 3 hours prior to kickoff and conclude at the end of the third quarter. Sellers will be on foot and there are 4 kiosks to purchase 50/50 tickets from, located behind sections 101, 116, 126, and 131. The winning number will be announced during the 4th quarter. The winner does NOT need to be present to win. The winner should email 5050@scarletknights.com with a picture of their ticket to arrange to collect their prize. More information, plus previous winning numbers, can be found at scarletknights.com/5050raffle.

Accessible Seating
Advanced ADA accommodations can be made available on a season or game by game basis by calling our sales representatives at 866-445-GORU. For parking accommodations please provide a copy of your placard for confirmation. On game days, the Athletic Ticket Office may accommodate ADA seating requests. All ADA seating is subject to availability on game days but tickets are withheld until game day to manage all requests.

Animal Policy
No pets are permitted in athletic facilities (with the exception of service dogs)

Trained and licensed service or guide animals are welcome at SHI Stadium and may rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. All other animals are prohibited.

ATMs
There are two ATMs located throughout SHI Stadium. ATMs are located on the concourse level at the top of Section 104 and 124.

Bag Policy
Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and approximately 12″ x 6″ x 12″, or one-gallon clear plastic bags or similar, and small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, can be taken into athletic venues. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Fans with prohibited bags may rent a locker at the locker truck near the Kids Chorale to store their bags.

Box Office Hours and Location
Regular Office Hours: Ticket office is open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., located inside the Rutgers Athletic Center.

Game Day Hours: SH Stadium Ticket booths open two hours prior to kickoff every home game.

Camera Policy
Small, non-professional cameras without an external flash or extendable lens may be brought into the venue on their own or in a clear plastic bag. Please note that for certain events, cameras may not be permitted. Fans may not reproduce any film, digital, video, or audio recording for commercial purpose without the express written consent of Rutgers Athletics

Children, Infant & Toddler Admission Policy
Rutgers Athletics requires all patrons, regardless of age to have a ticket for all football games. The Athletic Department will allow one lap child without charge when attending an event with a ticketed adult. To obtain a complimentary lap ticket, a parent or guardian can request the ticket at the stadium's North Gate Ticket Office. Please check the event’s ticket policies at the time of purchase as ticket policies may vary per event.

Day of Game Parking Lots
Day of game parking is $25 per vehicle in most lots and $100 per bus per game.

Day of game parking can be found on the Livingston, College Avenue, and UMDNJ Campuses (weather permitting).

Disability Parking
Handicapped ID, license plate or placard AND Rutgers Football Handicapped Season Parking Pass MUST be displayed for handicapped parking access.

Please note, handicapped parking on the Busch Campus is sold out on a seasonal basis.

Gameday handicapped parking spaces are available at the RAC with an ADA specific shuttle picking up in front.

Food and Beverage Policy
Due to Homeland Security guidelines, no outside food and beverage will be permitted into the stadium. An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the Guest Services gates designated for this purpose.

Lost or found items can be brought to the customer service window at the top of Section 116, located at the North Ticket office.

Prohibited Items
Prohibited items include outside food and beverages, bottles, cans, alcoholic beverages, coolers, umbrellas, strollers, noisemaking devices, balloons, laser pointers, pets (with the exception of guide dogs), balls, weapons, sticks/poles, containers, fireworks, and any other items deemed dangerous or inappropriate from being brought into the facility.

Parking
Parking lots open 5 hours prior to kickoff.

Day of game parking is available at the RAC (83 Rockafeller Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854) for $25 and is cash only.

Fans who park in the Scarlet or Green lot on Busch campus are encouraged to enter the campus from River Road. Fans in all other lots on Busch campus are encouraged to enter from Route 18.

Pre-Game Activities
Scarlet Walk (approx. 2.5 hours prior to kick off)

  • The Scarlet Knights arrive via bus to the corner of Scarlet Knight Way and Sutphen Road



The Block R Party presented by Miller Lite (located across from the North Plaza)

  • The block party features a beer garden with food, live music, contests, and a Kids’ Zone

Recruit Entry
Recruits may enter at the South Gate near Gate G & H.

Re-Entry
There is no re-entry into SHI Stadium. No pass outs allowed.

Rideshare
Rideshare drop off is located in the back of the Yellow Lot.

Rideshare pick up is located on Allison Road at the Allison Road Classroom Building.

Security Screening
If a patron has a clear bag or small clutch, they must undergo a bag check to enter SHI stadium

Shuttle Service
Downtown New Brunswick:

FREE shuttle buses depart regularly beginning 3 hours prior to kick-off at the New Brunswick Train Station Albany Street Bus Stop (located next to the cab waiting area) and return up to three hours after the game.

Livingston Campus/RAC:

RAC Parking lots can be accessed via Suttons Lane or Avenue E. Take the FREE shuttle bus from in front of the RAC.

College Avenue Campus:
Parking is available in the College Avenue Parking Deck and Lot 30 located behind the College Avenue Gymnasium. These lots can be accessed via Route 18 North or South. Take the FREE shuttle bus from in front of the Rutgers Student Center.

Biomedical and Health Sciences Campus:

Parking lots can be accessed via Hoes Lane West. Located within proximity to the Stadium

Smoking Policy
Per university regulations, smoking is not permitted in the seating area, bathrooms, and lower/upper concourses.

Stroller Policy
Please be advised, strollers are prohibited in SHI stadium

Student Information
Students must enter through Gates G-H at the South Entrance of SHI Stadium

Students are required to bring both their Rutgers student ID AND ticket for stadium access

Student season tickets are just $99. The package includes a guaranteed seat to all 7 home games plus an exclusive benefits package.

Tailgate Policies
Parking lots are open five (5) hours prior to kickoff.

Parking spaces are limited and tailgating must be confined to a small area behind or in front of your vehicle. Traffic aisles and parking spaces cannot be blocked at any time.

Spectators wishing to park together must enter lots at the same time, displaying matching passes.

All stadium parking lots will be reserved for those attending the game. If you do not attend the game, you will be asked to leave the stadium parking lots at kickoff time.

University regulations and state statutes on drug and alcohol consumption will be strictly enforced.

Kegs, beer balls, and tents/canopies larger than 10'x10' are prohibited. These items are not permitted in the parking lots/adjacent areas at any time.
For safety purposes, charcoal should be discarded in specially marked yellow barrels located throughout the parking lots.

Open flames other than approved grills are not permitted. Camp fires/ bonfires
are prohibited.

Please recycle and put all trash in proper receptacles.

RUPD and Rutgers Athletics remind everyone to please drink responsibly.

Don’t drink and drive.

Umbrella Policy
To ensure safety and field visibility for all patrons, umbrellas are not permitted in SHI Stadium.

Will Call
Will call will be available to fans on game days to leave tickets for others who may be arriving at other times. The full name of the individual is required to written on a will call envelope. The individual picking up the tickets will be required to provide a photo identification upon picking up the tickets.

The general will call at SHI Stadium is located at the North Gate Box office by gate D. General Will Call at the RAC is located at the main ticket office in the left most window when facing the RAC.
