Editor's Note
This is a recurring post, regularly updated with new information and offers.
Like most things we'll spend money on in 2024, Disney World vacations continue to increase in price. A one-day ticket for the Magic Kingdom can cost as much as $189 (though purchasing multiday tickets does bring the per-day cost down), and even the cheapest on-site hotel options average around $150 per night.

That doesn't mean there aren't ways to save money at Disney, though. Disney regularly releases special offers and discounts for hotels, tickets, dining plans and more.

Don't fret if you already booked a Disney vacation before learning about these offers. In most instances, you can apply current discounts to your existing reservation by visiting the "My Disney Experience" section on Disney World's website. Click on "My Plans," select "Change Reservation" and then search for applicable offers. If you booked through an authorized Disney vacation planner, you can reach out to them, and they should be able to apply the discount for you.
Save up to 30% on Disney hotel stays
Disney usually has one or two special offers you can take advantage of regardless of whether you have a Disney Premier Visa Card, a Disney Visa Card or a Disney+ subscription. Currently, there are two such discounts that can save you money.

If you are planning a Disney World vacation of five nights or more, you can save up to 35%. Your total savings will depend on which hotel you choose. This offer is available for stays on most nights between March 25 and July 7, 2024, and can save you hundreds of dollars. For example, a five-night mid-July stay in a savanna view room at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge will cost you $539.06 per night with this discount.
The same room would cost you $718.75 per night without a discount. Over the course of five nights, that's a staggering savings of almost $900 before taxes and fees.

If you are planning a shorter vacation, Disney has another offer to save up to 20% on your hotel stay on select nights between Jan. 9 and March 24.
Annual passholders can save even more – as much as 35% – on hotel rooms this spring and summer with a passholder exclusive offer.
How to find Disney World discounts
Finding Disney World hotel discounts is surprisingly easy. On Disney's website, if you click "Places to Stay" and navigate to "View Special Offers" on the pop-up menu, you'll see a full list of Disney's current hotel and vacation package discounts.
You can click here to go directly to the page and bookmark it for later or check TPG regularly for the latest Disney discounts.
If you are working with a Disney vacation planner, they will look for these deals for you and apply any that fit. Still, it doesn't hurt to check occasionally and flag any that you think might apply to your trip.
Bottom line
There's no getting around it: A Disney World vacation is a significant expense for most families. These Disney World discounts can help you save money for future trips or to spend elsewhere, like on character dining experiences or tickets to one of Disney's after-hours parties.
