Strawberry daiquiri
This first co*cktail is for every strawberry lover out there- strawberry daiquiri. But to make it slightly more ’healthy,’ this recipe this version of the co*cktail does not include any white sugar! But don’t worry, the taste is just as good!
Ingredients needed for 1 glass:
- 5 fresh strawberries
- 4 tablespoons white rum
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or another low carb sweetening syrup.
- 1 teaspoon lime juice juice
- 1 ice cube
How to prepare it?
Put all the ingredients into a kitchen blender and mix well until the strawberries convert into a paste.
This is the moment when you have to try it! If it is too sweet, add some rum and lime, and if it is too sour or bitter- add some more strawberries and syrup.
You can even make this co*cktail in slush form! The only modification you need to make is to use frozen strawberries and add some more ice to the blender.
Serve the co*cktail garnished with strawberry slices and some lime zest. Cheers!
Cuba Libre
This co*cktail is super popular among the coca-cola lovers. As the name suggests, it originates from Cuba and is one of the oldest co*cktails out there! Unfortunately, authentic Cuba Libre is being served in very few bars, because of their business choices (profit over quality). In my opinion, the modifications of the original Cuba Libre recipe do not deserve a place in this blog post. That is why I will share with you the original recipe, which has become my father’s favorite!
Ingredients needed for 1 glass:
- 2 tablespoons WHITE Cuban rum
- 4 tablespoons DARK Cuban rum
- 8 tablespoons Coca-Cola
- 1/2 lime
- 3 ice cubes
How to prepare it?
Take a chilled glass (you can put it in the freezer for 5 minutes) and put the ice cubes inside. Pour the rum, squeeze lime juice in the glass and add Coca-Cola. Put a small piece of lime on the edge of the glass. Enjoy your Cuba Libre!
Cosmonaut
Simple, classy, fresh. In my opinion, those are the words which describe Cosmonaut best. It does not contain any sugar, nor sweet fruit juices and its a great option when you are on a diet. But even if you aren’t, I am sure that this co*cktail will become one of your favorites (especially if you are not keen on sweet beverages).
Ingredients needed for 1 glass:
- 4 tablespoons gin
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon smooth raspberry jam (with no particles and seeds)
How to prepare it?
Shake all ingredients together until they are mixed well, and the raspberry jam is dissolved. Take a chilled glass and pour the beverage inside. Serve with a slice of lime on the edge of the glass. Cheers!
Piña Colada
In case you are a fan of tropical flavors, this co*cktail is for you! It will make you feel like you are in Puerto Rico (where it’s origin is). This co*cktail is pretty sweet, and some people find it a bit heavy, so keep that in mind if you prefer light drinks. However, for the others, Piña Colada will bring tropical, summer vibes, and rich flavors!

Tequila sunrise
This co*cktail is for tequila lovers. Tequila sunrise! This bright orangy-red beverage has a smooth, light, refreshing taste. However, keep in mind that a few glasses of this co*cktail will give you a strong kick, so don’t drink it too fast! Now, let’s get back to the recipe.

Rosé spritzer.
Well, this is the easiest co*cktail recipe! Some people don’t even count it as a co*cktail… But it definitely deserves a place in this blog post, as it is low in calories and is perfect for the hot summer days. Usually, when I make this beverage, only 1 glass is not enough… even 2 glasses are not enough! So I will share the recipe for 12 wine glasses.
Ingredients needed for 12 wine glasses:
- 1 bottle of rosé
- 1 liter sparkling water
- Ice
How to prepare it?
Take big whine jug. Pour the rosé inside and add the sparkling water carefully, in order not to decarbonate it. Generously add ice cubes and stir gently. Cheers!
*If you want to make the spritzer even more attractive, put some berry fruits in the wine jug.
Sazerac
Now, this is something strong. Sazerac. For all the hardcore drinkers, who are not fans of light co*cktails. This beverage is very rich in aromas, and its high alcohol content can give you a strong kick! Let’s see:

This co*cktail is perfect for anyone who is an iced tea lover but wants to spice things up a little. On the other hand, this iced tea is a bouquet of alcohols (instead of a bouquet of herbs), so be prepared for some strong effect!
